we've really put the pedal to the metal to try and finish this record before the holidays inevitably come around.....
that sweet mix of anxiety, caffeine jitters, lack of sleep and isolation from everything outside of the basement studio really gets one in the spirit of the season.

the scene yesterday morning when i woke up.....
ohmygoodness.....look who it is!! one of my favorite people on the planet, the UNBELIEVABLE lori mckenna stopped by to ya know, drop some science on a bunch of songs. she's the best and such a good sport but i'm afraid she may have left questioning our sanity and/or some of the crazy background vocals mike made up but OHMAN....they make my brain melt (in a good way).......
as the assitant to the cap'm, it should really be me pouring the wine for sir ducky.
